Full details

This per diem CRNA role is based at the Rubschlager Ambulatory Building in Chicago's medical district. The building opened in February 2023 as a ten-story outpatient center that also houses endoscopy and gastroenterology services and the Lung Center. The practice follows a medically directed care team model and describes itself as a cohesive group.

Scheduled cases are endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, and EUS. Shifts run Monday through Friday, either 7am to 3pm or 7am to 5pm, with no call, weekends, or holidays. The compensation is listed as $225 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across surgical procedures, completing pre-anesthesia evaluations, and obtaining informed consent. The nurse anesthetist would build and review anesthetic plans with patients, manage induction, maintenance, and emergence, and monitor patients' physiological status, intervening as needed. The role also supports departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
