Full details
A hospital in a scenic Arizona community is looking for an experienced CRNA to cover locum assignments. The role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with roughly 10 to 20 shifts each month.
Cases typically include general surgery, orthopedic, OB/GYN and GI procedures, and the anesthetist may occasionally support the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Cardiac and neurological cases are excluded. Two main operating rooms are in use.
Call is handled off-site by beeper: weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., plus 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays. Emergency privileges may be available.
Credentialing usually finishes within 30 days. Applicants should be board certified and hold current ACLS and PALS certifications, along with an active Arizona license, a clean malpractice record, and the ability to work at least three weeks per month. A telephone or video interview with the site's clinical leadership is required.
The position suits a CRNA who prefers community-based practice and wants easy access to Arizona's mountains, lakes and outdoor recreation.
