Columbia County Hospital, a new facility under development in Grovetown, Georgia and part of Wellstar Health System, is opening for patient care in Fall 2026. The hospital sits off I-20 at Exit 190 and is planned with 84 medical-surgical beds, a 16-bed ICU, a 40-bed full-service Emergency Department, and a planned Level II Trauma Center. It will also have 6 operating rooms, 2 cath/interventional radiology suites, and 2 endoscopy suites, along with a four-story Medical Office Building with 160 exam rooms connected directly to the hospital.

The health system is recruiting full-time, part-time, and PRN CRNAs and CAAs to form the anesthesia team at the new hospital. Providers have the chance to help build a practice from the ground up. Scheduled work includes daytime shifts and weekend shifts, plus in-house call for CRNAs and AAs. Physicians are onsite at all times or available by beeper. The role calls for comfort across most types of cases, including emergency cesarean sections.

Compensation includes a competitive salary structure and a sign-on bonus of up to $325k. Benefits cover medical, dental, and vision insurance, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance. There is a 403(b) plan with an employer match, a CME allowance, an extended illness bank, and adoption assistance. Vacation and holiday pay is offered to non-shift positions, and a concierge service is also available.
