Full details
The role is an anesthesia advanced practice provider position, open to a CRNA or an Anesthesiologist Assistant, working as a core part of the anesthesia care team under the medical direction of anesthesiologists. The provider gives safe, high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care to patients of every acuity level across surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic settings.
Compensation is presented as competitive, with a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, and a student stipend is also being offered for those who ask for details. The schedule is full-time and built around a set of shift patterns, with variable call that includes in-house coverage.
Day-to-day work requires running and interpreting a wide range of anesthesia and operating room equipment, communicating clearly both verbally and in writing with nurses and other disciplines, and applying knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan. The provider must also follow infection control practices, keep patient records confidential, follow facility policies, and help the OR run efficiently.
Eligibility requires graduation from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs for CRNAs, or a master's degree in anesthesia from an accredited anesthesiologist assistant program. Candidates at every experience level are welcome, and new graduates committed to learning and growth are specifically encouraged to apply.
Required credentials include a current Georgia license for the applicable role, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one, along with NBCRNA certification for CRNAs or NCCAA certification for anesthesiologist assistants. Basic Life Support certification is also required.
