Full details

This full-time CRNA opening is based at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee, a 109-bed acute care hospital serving Robertson County and nearby communities. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with call opportunities, and the work is described as autonomous yet highly collaborative, with an emphasis on high-quality, cost-conscious anesthesia care. The waterfall scheduling system is used.

Cases include orthopedic procedures such as total joints, fractures and sports medicine, excluding spine work; general surgery such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy, colon resection, endoscopy and mastectomy, excluding thoracic and vascular cases; and urology, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, and cardiology cases involving TEE or cardioversion. Call is 1:8 with first and second call, and the provider is guaranteed a day off after first call. In-house call happens only when an obstetric patient is active on the floor.

Compensation is listed as up to $355,000 a year, made up of a $255,000 base salary, an estimated $70,000 to $75,000 in call pay, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and a $10,000 quality bonus paid quarterly. Continuing education reimbursement of $3,000 is offered. Health, dental and vision premiums are fully covered for employees, relocation assistance is available, and professional liability coverage is provided by the employer.

Clinical responsibilities include completing and documenting pre-anesthetic assessments, ordering pre-operative medications and fluids, obtaining informed consent, managing airways, overseeing emergence and recovery, discharging patients from post-anesthesia care, and handling emergencies with advanced or basic life support. The role also involves developing continuity-of-care standards, staying current with American Association of Nurse Anesthetists guidance, and complying with local, state and federal rules. Attending meetings and supporting colleagues are expected.

Candidates should hold ACLS, BLS and PALS certification and bring meaningful anesthesia experience. The employer, LifeLinc Anesthesia, describes itself as a comprehensive anesthesia management provider active since 2003, with an internal academy for continuing education and a clinical leadership training program for providers.
