Full details

LifeLinc Anesthesia is recruiting a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to work at Piedmont Eye Center, a high-volume ophthalmic surgery center in Atlanta, Georgia that focuses on cataract, retina, and cornea procedures in a streamlined outpatient setting. The role is a 32-hour schedule across Monday through Thursday, from 7am to 3pm, with no call. The position carries a $230,000 annual compensation figure and may lead to a Chief CRNA role with added pay.

The CRNA would provide conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia for outpatient and inpatient cases, manage airways, oversee emergence and recovery, and discharge patients from the post-anesthesia area with follow-up care for anesthesia-related effects. The provider would also respond to emergencies using airway management, emergency fluids or drugs, and basic or advanced cardiac life support. Pre-anesthetic duties include assessment, ordering studies and medications, and obtaining informed consent. Beyond routine care, the CRNA would help lead quality initiatives with surgeons, medical staff, and facility leadership, and would help develop continuity-of-care and case-management standards while staying compliant with AANA and local, state, and federal rules.

Benefits listed include $2,000 in CME reimbursement, six weeks of PTO plus 64 holiday hours, health, dental, and vision insurance with coverage shown as 100% covered, and an employer 401k contribution. LifeLinc covers professional liability malpractice coverage. The employer describes itself as a national anesthesia management group founded in 2003.

Candidates must be graduates of an approved nursing school and of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation, and must have completed AANA Council on Certification requirements. Required additional qualifications include at least two years of independent practice experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification. The role also calls for strong English reading and writing, routine report writing, teamwork, HIPAA compliance, and general computer and Microsoft Office skills.
