Full details

The CRNA will join an interprofessional healthcare team delivering anesthesia under a care team model, caring for patients of every acuity level across the lifespan in surgical, obstetrical, and diagnostic settings. The role covers pre-operative review and anesthetic delivery in all procedural areas, including operating rooms, interventional radiology, endoscopy, and Labor and Delivery. Responsibilities include selecting and giving anesthetics, adjuvants, fluids, and blood products; managing airways through intubation, extubation, and ventilation; performing pre-anesthetic evaluations and obtaining informed consent; and monitoring patients with invasive and noninvasive techniques. The CRNA also responds to emergencies, performs regional techniques such as spinal, epidural, and nerve blocks once proficiency is established, develops anesthesia care plans alongside the attending anesthesiologist, and manages post-anesthesia recovery and discharge.

Scheduling options include 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts and part-time positions, with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays required. Full scope of practice is available, and regional anesthesia may be practiced if the provider chooses. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates need graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, eligibility for NBCRNA certification, and enrollment in the Continued Professional Certification program once certified. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, along with an active Maryland state license and compliance with state rules for CRNAs. The position is expected to reflect the organization's values of respect, excellence, accountability, teamwork, ethical behavior, and results.

Compensation starts at $240,000, rising to $270,000 with five years of experience, and includes a $100,000 sign-on bonus. The posted pay range is $217,586.40 to $326,379.60, with the final offer based on qualifications, education, experience, and organizational needs. Free parking is provided at the site.
