Somnia Anesthesia, a clinician-led and physician-owned anesthesia group, is growing into the Boston area and is seeking CRNAs to join its team at Cataract and Laser Center in Dedham, Massachusetts. The position is a per diem role paying $173 per hour and is based in an ambulatory surgery center focused on cataract surgery.
The case mix is primarily cataract procedures, with roughly 6,300 cases performed each year. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with the longer days falling Monday through Thursday and a shorter day on Friday. The role carries no night, weekend, or holiday coverage.
Candidates need an active state license, a DEA registration, and current ACLS and BLS certifications. The facility is a well-regarded ophthalmic surgery center offering advanced cataract and laser care to patients across Greater Boston. Dedham sits roughly 25 to 30 minutes from downtown Boston and is reachable from Rhode Island and Connecticut, with nearby towns such as Westwood, Needham, Newton, Norwood, and Canton as common places clinicians live.
