The schedule is 8-hour shifts. This full-time opening sits within a care-team model at the Mid-Cities Division of Texas Health Resources, at its HEB hospital in Bedford, Texas. The facility is a 250-bed hospital with no cardiac or pediatric services. CRNAs there provide anesthesia across endoscopy, obstetrics, the cath lab and the main operating room.

Operating room cases include gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, vascular procedures, podiatry and some ENT. The role carries no holiday or weekend work. Occasional weekend call is covered from home on either Saturday or Sunday during daytime hours, and roughly seven to ten call days fall in a calendar year. Separate call-taking positions are also offered, which cover the entire weekend and are followed by a stretch of consecutive days off.

The hospital is a Level 3 Trauma Medical Center and the only one in northeast Tarrant County with that designation, offering complex treatment and advanced services. Hurst, Euless and Bedford together have a population near 144,147 and sit close to Dallas and Fort Worth, with a reasonable cost of living and a community college and a large shopping mall nearby.

Candidates must hold state licensure and complete the hospital's credentialing requirements for each facility where they will have privileges.
