Full details
Full-time CRNA openings are available at a Level 1 trauma center near downtown Fort Worth, where anesthesia is delivered within a Care Team model. Cases span general cardiothoracic, orthopedic, neurological, ENT, and gynecological surgery. Shift lengths are set by staffing needs and are detailed during interviews, and providers also take a limited number of compensated on-call callback shifts each month. Pay is hourly and scales with years of experience. Some CRNAs in the Fort Worth division pick up overtime and earn substantial annual totals, before taxes and benefits. A sign-on bonus tied to a commitment is offered, and both experienced CRNAs and new graduates are considered.
The employer, US Anesthesia Partners, is a physician-owned, single-specialty group. Benefits include paid time off, a professional education allowance, medical and dental plan options, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) match with profit sharing, and paid malpractice coverage. The division also provides weekly lunches for its CRNAs.
The host hospital, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, has a long record of advanced care. It holds Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, was the first in the country to earn the Joint Commission's Primary Heart Attack Center designation, and is a designated Emergency Center of Excellence. Fort Worth itself is the nation's 13th-largest city and offers a historic stockyards district, a downtown entertainment area, a museum-rich cultural district, and easy access to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.
Candidates must hold state licensure and complete the hospital's credentialing requirements for any facility where they will hold privileges.
