A physician-owned group focused solely on anesthesia is recruiting a per diem nurse anesthetist for its expanding team at Memorial Hospital Gulfport, a 328-bed nonprofit teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center that serves as the flagship facility on the Gulf Coast. The position pays $135 per hour as a W-2 employee and runs under a collaborative ACT model alongside 7 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs. Newly graduated nurse anesthetists are welcome.

The hospital operates 19 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 urology suites and 2 cath labs, handling about 15,980 surgical cases a year across cardiac, neuro, vascular, obstetric, orthopedic, GI and urology specialties. It also has a Level III NICU and is a Primary Stroke Center. Malpractice coverage is provided.

Qualifications include an active state license, a DEA registration and a state controlled-dangerous-substances registration, along with board certification and current ACLS, BLS and PALS credentials.
