Full details

This full-time CRNA position is based at Garnet Health Medical Center, a nonprofit hospital in Middletown, New York, and is the only hospital in Orange County to hold Magnet redesignation. The medical center employs more than 2,400 healthcare workers and has over 600 physicians with privileges there, serving a wide range of patients from the surrounding region. Originally called Orange Regional Medical Center, the 383-bed facility opened in 2011 as the first new hospital built in New York State in twenty years.

The listed hourly rate is $129.81, and a $110K sign-on incentive is offered. Benefits include health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D coverage, generous paid time off, flexible spending and health savings accounts, a 401(k) with profit sharing, fully paid malpractice coverage, and assistance with loan repayment and training.

Anesthesia cases span endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, labor and delivery, radiology, urology, vascular, gynecology, ENT, neurosurgery, and plastics. The role involves delivering full anesthesia care across these procedures, completing pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, creating and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients, managing induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia, and watching patients' vital signs and intervening when needed. The position also contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates must hold a current registered professional nurse license and have completed an accredited nurse anesthesia education program. They must also hold current certification from the AANA's certifying council, or have recertified through it.
