Full details

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for its Hudson Valley campus in Cortlandt Manor, New York. The full-time role follows a rotating schedule of 16- and 24-hour shifts. CRNAs at the hospital provide anesthesia for surgical procedures, cardiac catheterization labs and obstetric cases, including general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for both scheduled and emergency work.

The position also carries a leadership component. The nurse anesthetist will help coordinate clinical care, assist with staffing needs, arrange staff development opportunities, and plan recognition events and training sessions to build engagement and cohesion across a growing group of experienced CRNAs. The case mix is varied and balanced, with a strong orthopedic emphasis alongside obstetric anesthesia and a wide range of surgical and procedural services. The practice model emphasizes flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making and a collegial team approach.

Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a CRNA and obstetric anesthesia experience. Required qualifications include CRNA certification, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a current New York State RN license or willingness to obtain one. BCLS and ACLS certifications are also required. All roles require on-site presence, and employees must live within a commutable distance of the hospital; travel expenses are not reimbursed.

The stated salary range is $270,000 to $335,000 per year. Compensation is based on competitive base pay with recognition of experience, education and licensure, and the employer describes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
