Full details

This full-time CRNA opening at White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains, New York, supports a busy hospital-based anesthesia practice that works as a care team. The hospital, a not-for-profit organization in Westchester County, is recognized as one of the most honored and quickly expanding hospitals in the region. The anesthesia group covers the main hospital and five ambulatory surgery centers nearby, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases across a wide range of specialties, including general, obstetric, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatric, neurologic and orthopedic procedures. Transplant and trauma cases are excluded, and cardiac and very young pediatric patients are handled by a dedicated team.

Scheduling is built around shorter and standard-length blocks, with other arrangements possibly available, and the role is set up to avoid nights, weekends and holidays. Overnight call is kept infrequent, and a night float anesthesiologist now covers labor and delivery. The new operating rooms are described as state of the art.

Compensation is listed as an hourly range of $146.63 to $151.44, equal to roughly $305K to $315K a year as stated, with a sign-on incentive of up to $100K. Benefits include medical, life, vision, dental, disability and accidental death coverage, generous paid time off, flexible spending and health savings accounts, a 401(k) with profit sharing, fully paid malpractice coverage, and help with loan repayment and training costs.

Responsibilities include providing full anesthesia care, completing pre-anesthesia evaluations and informed consent, planning anesthetic approaches with patients, managing induction, maintenance and emergence, monitoring patients and intervening as needed, and taking part in departmental coordination and clinical leadership. Candidates need a current registered nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
