The role is a per diem CRNA position at BronxCare, a large not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system serving the South and Central Bronx in New York City. The hospital has 859 beds and more than 4,500 staff, handles close to one million outpatient visits a year, and sees about 140,000 emergency room visits annually. It also runs a clinical collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System and maintains 16 accredited fellowship and residency programs.

Pay is listed at $200 per hour for W2 engagements and $210 per hour for 1099 engagements. Assigned case types include pediatrics, endocrine, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, gynecology, and plastics.

The CRNA will deliver full anesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures. Duties include completing pre-anesthesia assessments, securing informed consent, and building and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients. The provider manages induction, maintenance, and emergence, watches the patient's physiological status, and steps in with interventions when needed. The role also contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
