A per diem CRNA position is available at White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York, a hospital-based practice that is growing and needs additional clinical support. The hospital is a not-for-profit organization in Westchester County that offers a wide range of specialty care usually found only at large teaching centers, and it was ranked eighth on a list of the most beautiful hospitals in the United States.

The anesthesia group serves the main hospital and three ambulatory surgery centers in the area. It includes 29 anesthesiologists and five CRNAs and covers 13 operating rooms, four endoscopy suites, interventional radiology, the cardiac catheterization lab, and labor and delivery. Care is delivered through a team model that emphasizes shared voice, mutual respect, and support in pursuit of excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across a variety of surgical cases, completing preoperative assessments and securing informed consent, and developing anesthetic plans in discussion with patients. The provider manages induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitors physiological status and intervenes as needed, and contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA's certification council. Pay is listed at $185 per hour for W2 per diem work or $195 per hour for 1099 work.
