This per diem opening is for a weekend-only CRNA in Memphis, Tennessee, joining a growing anesthesia practice at Baptist Memorial Health Care. The campus centers on Baptist Memorial Hospital – Memphis, a high-volume medical center, and also includes a women's hospital, a children's hospital, a women's health center, a restorative care hospital, a heart institute, and several physician office buildings on an 80-acre site. The practice covers three acute care hospitals nearby as well as several ambulatory surgery centers, and includes more than 25 physicians, two fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists, and over 70 CRNAs working in a care team model.

Case work spans general, pediatric, ENT, orthopedic, plastic, OB/GYN, transplant, and complex cardiac procedures, with various schedules and shifts available. Responsibilities include providing full anesthesia care across surgical cases, completing pre-anesthesia evaluations and informed consent, developing anesthetic plans with patients, managing induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitoring patients and intervening as needed, and supporting departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The posted pay is $135 per hour.
