The role runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm on an as-needed basis, the posting lists a rate of $160/hour, and call is optional with no required call duty.
The center is a modern, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery facility handling outpatient procedures in orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and general surgery. Its streamlined workflow, short turnover times, and anesthesia model are described as predictable for CRNAs, with a focus on patient comfort and safety. The case mix includes ENT, general surgery, vascular, podiatry, pain management, urology, GYN, GI, plastics, and orthopedics.
The CRNA is expected to collaborate with the team, build standards for continuity of care and case management, and stay compliant with AANA guidance and local, state, and federal rules. Clinical work covers pre-anesthetic assessment and documentation, ordering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, obtaining informed consent, airway management, emergence and recovery, discharge from the post-anesthesia area, and follow-up for anesthesia-related complications. The CRNA also responds to emergencies using airway management, emergency drugs or fluids, and ACLS or BLS techniques, and attends meetings as needed.
Benefits are offered to employees working 30 or more hours per week, and this position is not benefit eligible. LifeLinc covers professional liability malpractice coverage.
Candidates need graduation from an approved school of nursing and from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation, plus successful completion of the AANA Council on Certification examination. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification is also required.
