Full details

This full-time CRNA role is based at East Memphis Surgery Center in Memphis, Tennessee, a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center handling outpatient procedures in orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and general surgery. The position follows a weekday outpatient schedule from 7am to 3pm, with no call requirement, and the posting notes that call is optional.

The anesthesia model at the center is designed for predictable days, short turnover times, and a steady outpatient caseload. Anesthesia providers work with a degree of autonomy, and the case mix spans ENT, general surgery, vascular, podiatry, pain management, urology, gynecology, GI, plastics, and orthopedics.

The CRNA is responsible for pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, documented promptly and accurately, along with ordering and giving pre-anesthetic medications and fluids and securing informed consent. Core clinical tasks include airway management, guiding emergence and recovery, discharging patients from the post-anesthesia area, following patients for anesthesia-related complications, and responding to emergencies with airway care, drugs, fluids, or cardiac life support. The role also includes administrative responsibilities such as developing continuity-of-care standards and staying compliant with AANA guidance and local, state, and federal rules.

Compensation is listed as a $245,000 annual salary. Benefits include 280 hours of paid time off, often described as seven weeks, health insurance, a 401(k), and continuing medical education reimbursement. Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week, and this position is listed as not benefit eligible. LifeLinc covers professional liability malpractice coverage.

The employer, LifeLinc Anesthesia, describes its clinical leadership program and its in-house academy for autonomous practice and CME credit. Candidates need ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification, a graduate degree from an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia program, a nursing school degree, and successful completion of the AANA certification examination.
