Full details
LifeLinc Anesthesia is recruiting an experienced full-time CRNA to work at Eye Specialty Group, a outpatient ophthalmology center in Memphis, Tennessee. The posting advertises a $240,000 salary, a Monday-through-Friday day schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., no call, eight weeks of paid time off, and a full benefits package.
The center focuses on advanced outpatient eye surgery and comprehensive ophthalmic care, handling a high volume of cases such as cataract, retina, glaucoma, corneal, and oculoplastic procedures. Workflows are streamlined and surgeons collaborate closely with anesthesia staff, and the practice is described as autonomous yet collaborative.
Clinical responsibilities include pre-anesthetic assessment and documentation, requesting consults and diagnostic studies, ordering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and obtaining informed consent. The CRNA would manage airways, oversee emergence and recovery, discharge patients from the post-anesthesia area, provide follow-up for anesthesia-related complications, and respond to emergencies using airway management or advanced cardiac life support, along with other nurse anesthesia work within the individual's expertise.
Administrative expectations include working as a team member toward the group's goals, helping develop continuity-of-care and case-management standards, and staying current with AANA guidance and local, state, and federal rules. Professional liability coverage is provided by the employer.
Benefits listed include continuing medical education reimbursement, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The employer also runs an education arm that supports CME credits and a leadership training program for anesthesia providers.
Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nursing program and of an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia program, hold current AANA certification, and have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
