This per diem CRNA position at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania offers the chance to practice in a collaborative setting. The community hospital uses advanced treatment technology and has 96 private rooms, 30 of which can be converted to semiprivate use for a total of up to 126 beds. Connected by an enclosed walkway, the UPMC Behavioral Health Network building adds 28 behavioral health beds, and the campus also includes a 16-bed transitional care unit and a nine-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Case assignments cover general surgery, urology, endoscopy, and more. The role involves delivering full anesthesia care across surgical procedures, carrying out pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, and building and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients. The CRNA also directs induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, watches each patient's physiological status and intervenes as necessary, and contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The posted rate is $130 per hour.
