The position is a full-time CRNA role with Highlands Anesthesia Services, offered at a pay range of $185,000.00 to $248,986.00 per year, with a new hire sign-on bonus of $45,000 that may be available.

The anesthetist will deliver anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist across a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic operations and cardiac catheterizations. The role also includes taking part in the clinical teaching of student nurse anesthetists.

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, since clinical experience cannot be counted in place of that schooling. Required credentials include Alabama APN certification with the CRNA specialty, plus current ACLS, BLS through the American Heart Association, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
