The position pays $150.00 per hour and is offered on a flexible, as-needed (PRN) schedule. Eligible positions may also receive a range of perks, including tuition and learning support, generous leave, wellness and counseling resources, paid parental leave, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) credit.

The CRNA will deliver anesthesia under an anesthesiologist's supervision across a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardiothoracic operations and cardiac catheterizations. The role also includes teaching nurse anesthesia students in the clinical setting.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, since work experience cannot replace that education. They must hold current Alabama APN certification with a CRNA specialty, along with active ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (American Heart Association) credentials.
