This PRN position places a CRNA at the Quaker Lane site in High Point, North Carolina, within Atrium Health, which is part of Advocate Health. The clinic is an outpatient gastrointestinal practice where anesthesia is provided exclusively by CRNAs, with shifts running Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The listed pay range is $175.00 to $175.00, and the role is benefits eligible at 40 hours per week.

The CRNA delivers anesthesia using safe, high-quality techniques during procedures and takes part in team-based patient care. Duties include choosing an appropriate care plan through clinical judgment, accounting for comorbidities and age and developmental considerations, and coordinating with the medical team as needed. The clinician is also expected to uphold patient safety, support quality improvement and infection prevention, keep accurate records under confidentiality rules, and conserve resources. Precepting student nurse anesthetists is encouraged and offers a mentoring role.

Candidates need a current North Carolina RN license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, national certification as a CRNA, and current North Carolina CRNA licensure. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. The clinician practices under the oversight of the North Carolina Medical Board or the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with departmental credentialing from the institution.

Compensation includes base pay within the posted range, premium pay for shift and on-call work, and possible incentive pay for select roles, with potential annual increases tied to performance. Benefits described include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, family leave, a defined contribution retirement plan with employer match, and an educational assistance program. Some programs depend on FTE or status, so candidates are advised to ask about eligibility during interviews.

High Point sits in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region, which the posting describes as affordable, with housing costs 31% below the national average and a regional population of 1.6 million. The area offers walking and biking trails, golf, arts communities, Southern cuisine, and craft breweries and wineries.
