Premier Surgery Center in High Point, North Carolina, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to work full-time, 40 hours per week, in its outpatient anesthesia department. The posted pay range is $99.75 to $159.60, and the role is benefits eligible. The surgical caseload includes orthopedic and ENT procedures, among others, and the CRNA provides anesthesia during procedures using safe, high-quality techniques.

Duties include making sound clinical decisions for each patient's peri-operative plan with attention to comorbidities, age, and developmental considerations; coordinating with the surgical team; supporting patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention; keeping accurate records that meet hospital standards; and conserving resources to help contain costs. The CRNA is encouraged to precept student nurse anesthetists and mentor them. The practitioner works under the authority of the North Carolina Medical Board or the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with departmental credentialing from the institution.

Candidates need a current North Carolina RN license, graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia, national certification as a CRNA, current North Carolina CRNA licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Schedule options include several 11-, 12-, and 13-hour shifts, hybrid shifts combining 8- and 12-hour blocks, and weekend choices. Continuing education reimbursement of up to $2,500 is available, along with additional PTO days each year for that purpose. Paid time off accrues from 30 days per year and covers vacation, illness, holidays, and personal matters.

Parental benefits include six weeks of paid maternity leave for the birthing parent and four weeks of paid parental leave. The employer contributes up to 6% to retirement. Recruitment incentives of up to $140,000 are offered to candidates who meet eligibility rules, and a relocation payment of up to $7,500 is made within the first month of employment. Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, adoption assistance, and an educational assistance program are also part of the total rewards package. Some programs depend on FTE or employment status.

The Piedmont Triad region, where High Point is located, is recognized for affordable housing, strong school systems, a regional population of about 1.6 million, and an active lifestyle with trails, golf, arts, Southern dining, and craft breweries and wineries. Advocate Health is a large nonprofit integrated system headquartered in Charlotte, with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as an academic partner.
