Full details

Somnia Anesthesia, a clinician-led and physician-owned group, is recruiting CRNAs to work within the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare System in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The practice follows an anesthesia supervision model in which CRNAs are supported by a team that includes physicians, and it is positioned as one of the region's established anesthesia groups.

Positions are offered full-time, part-time, or per diem. The role is described as having no mandatory call. Shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour blocks. Work spans operating rooms, obstetrics, and non-operating-room anesthesia settings such as the cath lab and GI suite, across five facilities that are each about 30 minutes apart. Cases cover general, cardiac, vascular, neurological, orthopedic, ENT, GI, gynecologic, plastic, and obstetrical surgery.

CRNAs practice to their full scope, which includes regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines. Candidates need an active state license, DEA registration, a state controlled-substance registration, and board certification, along with ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials.

Compensation includes an annual base salary, eight weeks of paid time off, a seniority premium for providers with more than ten years of experience, a commencement bonus, an annual retention bonus, and an education stipend. Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and malpractice coverage are offered, with medical benefits at no cost to the employee and their family. Benefits also include a 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and relocation assistance of up to a stated amount.

Memphis, which is home to the health system's main campus, is described as offering a lower cost of living and no Tennessee state income tax, along with a strong music, food, and sports scene and convenient airport access. The health system is developing an anesthesia residency and currently offers subspecialty training in cardiac, obstetric, critical care, and pain medicine. Somnia has been active in anesthesia since 1996 and offers a referral bonus to current staff who recommend hires.
