Full details

This full-time CRNA position is based at St. Francis Hospital's Park and Bartlett locations in the Memphis and Bartlett, Tennessee area, and the role is described as having no call schedule. The practice model is presented as collaborative, with CRNAs working with meaningful autonomy to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality anesthesia care. The role is preferably split between the Memphis and Bartlett sites.

The Memphis campus, which has served East Memphis since 1974, is a 479-bed facility where the case mix covers all specialties in the operating rooms. The Bartlett hospital, opened in 2004, is limited to neuro-spine cases and excludes cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and obstetric work. The employer describes its community focus as growing alongside the North and Northeast Shelby County population.

Duties include pre-anesthetic assessments and documentation, ordering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, obtaining informed consent, managing airways and anesthesia emergence, and handling post-anesthesia discharge and follow-up. CRNAs also respond to emergencies using advanced or basic life support and perform other nurse anesthesia tasks within their expertise. Administrative responsibilities include helping set continuity-of-care standards and staying compliant with AANA and local, state, and federal rules.

Candidates need a graduate degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program and certification through the AANA Council on Certification, along with at least two years of independent practice experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Professional liability coverage is provided by the employer.

Listed compensation is $220,000 per year, with $20,000 in quality and retention bonuses and an overall package described as up to $240,000. Benefits include seven weeks of paid time off, health insurance premiums fully covered for employees, a 401(k), CME reimbursement, and relocation assistance.

The employer, a comprehensive anesthesia management company founded in 2003, says it supports provider growth through its LifeLinc Academy education arm, which offers CME credit, and through LEAP, a clinical leadership training program.
