Full details
LifeLinc Anesthesia is recruiting a full-time CRNA for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County, a 153-bed facility in Mississippi that has been recognized for compassionate, high-quality care, with particular strengths in maternity and childbirth services and diagnostic capabilities. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with first and second call at a 1:6 ratio. The practice is described as autonomous yet highly collaborative and focused on cost-effective anesthesia care.
The case mix covers general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, urology, and healthy pediatric patients, all handled by CRNAs. Proficiency in blocks and obstetrics is preferred, and a willingness to teach is valued. The core clinical work involves conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia for outpatient and inpatient cases, along with pre-anesthetic assessment, informed consent, airway management, emergence and recovery, post-anesthesia discharge, and emergency response.
Compensation is listed as a $210,000 annual salary, a $10,000 quality bonus, and a $10,000 retention bonus. Benefits include $2,000 in CME reimbursement, health, dental, and vision premiums fully covered for employees, a 401(k), relocation assistance, and seven weeks of PTO. LifeLinc provides professional liability coverage.
Qualifications require graduation from an approved school of nursing and from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation, along with successful completion of AANA certification. Candidates should have at least two years of independent practice experience and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The role also expects CRNAs to follow AANA, state, and federal regulations, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, and communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
