The role is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at North Mississippi Health Services, within the Anesthesia department. The CRNA delivers high-quality anesthesia care efficiently and effectively, aiming for strong outcomes for both patients and surgeons. The position calls for leadership in evaluating each case, building individualized anesthesia plans, and communicating well with patients, families, medical center staff, and other customers.

Core responsibilities include pre-operative assessment and planning, along with post-operative evaluation of the anesthetic plan. The CRNA is also expected to support patient satisfaction through methods such as post-op visits, follow-up calls, and third-party reviews, and to keep accurate, timely records of the anesthesia care provided.

The position requires compliance with Mississippi state rules for advanced practice and with the standards set by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. The CRNA must be prepared to care for every patient population, from fetal and newborn patients through infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. The posted salary range is $220,708.80 to $275,880.80. Candidates need a master's degree in nursing and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist credential issued through the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
