Full details
LifeLinc Anesthesia is looking for an experienced PRN CRNA to work at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The role offers flexible scheduling, with call available on an optional basis, and an autonomous yet collaborative setting focused on high-quality, cost-conscious anesthesia care.
NEA Baptist is a 228-bed medical center that provides a broad range of medical, surgical, and specialty services and uses advanced diagnostic and treatment technology. Jonesboro sits roughly an hour from Memphis, Tennessee, giving providers a busy clinical practice along with access to a large metropolitan area. PRN CRNAs join a supportive team within an established anesthesia department.
LifeLinc Anesthesia, founded in 2003, describes itself as one of the leading comprehensive anesthesia management companies in the country. Its stated goal is to improve healthcare through new approaches and strong clinical quality, and it encourages providers to take on leadership roles in the perioperative area. The company runs an education arm for skill-building and CME credit, along with a clinical leadership training program.
The CRNA would cover all case types. Schedule is weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on an as-needed basis, with weekday and weekend call available as needed but never required. Professional liability coverage is provided by LifeLinc. Benefits apply only to employees working 30 or more hours per week, and this position is not benefit eligible.
Clinical responsibilities include a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation, ordering or giving pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and obtaining informed consent. The CRNA would manage airways, oversee emergence and recovery, discharge patients from the post-anesthesia area, follow up on anesthesia side effects, and respond to emergencies with airway care, emergency drugs or fluids, and cardiac life support. Administrative expectations include working as a team member, creating continuity-of-care standards, following AANA and local, state, and federal rules, attending meetings as needed, and helping colleagues.
Required credentials include graduation from an approved nursing school and from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation, plus successful completion of the AANA Council on Certification examination or its predecessor. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are also required.
