LifeLinc Anesthesia is recruiting a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Crittenden in West Memphis, Arkansas. The position pays $187.50 per hour and offers flexible PRN scheduling on weekdays, typically 7:00am to 3:00pm, with no call requirement. The position is not benefit eligible, and LifeLinc covers malpractice professional liability.

The hospital is an 11-bed acute care facility of about 65,000 square feet that serves Crittenden County, Arkansas, a population of roughly 51,000. The role centers on conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia for outpatient and inpatient cases, along with airway management, emergence and recovery, and discharge from the post-anesthesia care area. The CRNA also handles pre-anesthetic assessment, informed consent, and post-anesthesia follow-up, and responds to emergencies using advanced or basic life support techniques.

Administrative expectations include collaborating as a team member, helping develop standards for continuity of care and case management, and staying current with AANA guidance and local, state, and federal rules. The provider is expected to attend meetings as needed, communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff, and support colleagues within the department. Strict HIPAA confidentiality, annual HIPAA compliance testing, and general computer and Microsoft Office skills are also required.

Candidates must have graduated from an approved nursing school and from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation, and must hold AANA Council on Certification credentials. The position requires at least two years of independent practice, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification, and block experience.
