LifeLinc Anesthesia is recruiting an experienced PRN CRNA for East Memphis Urology (UroCenter) in Memphis, Tennessee, offering a rate of $160 per hour and flexible as-needed scheduling. The role is set on weekdays, generally Monday through Thursday from 7am to 3pm with some Friday shifts from 7am to 3pm as needed, and the case load is limited to urology. Malpractice and professional liability coverage is provided by LifeLinc.

The CRNA would deliver conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia for outpatient and inpatient procedures, which covers airway management, guiding emergence and recovery, and discharging patients from the post-anesthesia area with follow-up for any side effects or complications. The provider also handles pre-anesthetic evaluation, including ordering diagnostics and consults, choosing and giving premedications and fluids, and securing informed consent. Emergency response, using advanced airway techniques or cardiac life support as needed, is part of the role.

Beyond clinical work, the CRNA is expected to collaborate with colleagues, help set standards for continuity of care and case management, attend meetings when required, and stay current with AANA guidance and local, state, and federal rules. Strict confidentiality of patient information under HIPAA is required, along with an annual compliance exam.

Candidates must have graduated from an approved nursing school and from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation or its predecessor, and must hold current AANA Council on Certification credentials. The position requires at least two years of independent practice experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Strong English reading and writing, routine computer skills in Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff are also needed.
