Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois is seeking experienced CRNAs to join its Anesthesiology Team. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week and is benefits eligible. The hospital is a 645-bed non-profit teaching hospital serving Chicago's North and Northwest suburbs, with a Level I Trauma Center and recognized strengths in cardiology, cancer care, neurosciences, orthopedics, and women's health.

The CRNA works within a CRNA-led team using a collaborative care model and provides anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients in elective and emergency surgical cases. Duties include completing pre-anesthesia assessments, building individualized anesthesia care plans, monitoring patients through the perioperative period, coordinating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing and procedural staff, taking part in post-anesthesia evaluations and recovery planning, and keeping clinical documentation current. Mentorship and leadership opportunities are available within the practice.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday and offers flexible 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. No on-call duties, weekend shifts, or holiday shifts are required. Pay is listed as $99.75 to $159.60, and the posting also cites a $100,000 sign-on bonus, $121 to $159 per hour ($251,680 to $330,720 salary), an optional forgivable loan, covered licensure and certification costs, $2,250 in annual CME reimbursement plus 40 hours of CME time, 30 days of PTO that increases with years of service, malpractice insurance, and extra shift bonuses of $75 to $100 per hour. The practice has no non-compete, and CRNAs may work locums at non-Advocate Health locations.

Candidates need an active RN license, an APRN or equivalent advanced practice license in the state of practice, and active NBCRNA certification as a CRNA. An active DEA registration is required before hire, and ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required as the clinical site or role dictates, either before hire or within six months of it. A Master's degree in Nursing is required. No prior experience is required, and both experienced CRNAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
