Full details
Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a skilled, compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the anesthesia care team at one of its surgery centers. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate may be asked to rotate within the ambulatory division to cover cases when needed. A $40k sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.
The CRNA would deliver intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to keep patients free of pain during surgery, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical or dental procedures. Patients may range from infants to older adults across all A.S.A. classes, and the role also provides airway management throughout the hospital as needed. Responsibilities include completing pre-anesthesia assessments, building individualized anesthesia plans, monitoring patients during procedures, managing anesthesia-related complications, providing post-anesthesia care and pain control, and keeping documentation that meets hospital policy and regulatory standards.
The surgery centers handle a broad mix of procedures, including total hip and knee replacements, plastic, sports medicine, orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, ophthalmologic, podiatric, dental, pediatric, endoscopic, and general surgery cases. The ambulatory division includes more than 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians who provide fast-paced, high-quality care.
The position is structured for a favorable work-life balance, with no call, no overnight work, and minimal weekend shifts.
Candidates need a current RN license and NBCRNA certification, a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and at least one year of experience as a CRNA. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are expected, along with the ability to collaborate well with anesthesiologists and other providers. Required credentials include a State of Michigan RN license, state specialty certification, clinical privileges, and ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications, all maintained current.
Benefits include a competitive salary, family-forming support such as paid parental leave, adoption and donor assistance, and fertility healthcare coverage. Retirement is supported by a 403(b) plan with a 3.5% salary match, and medical, dental, and vision coverage is offered along with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA tax-savings options.
