This full-time CRNA position is based at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, Florida, where the anesthesia care team includes 17 physicians and 24 CRNAs. The hospital is an accredited facility with 473 beds that has served the Miami-Dade community for more than six decades. The practice handles roughly 12,000 cases a year across 14 modern operating rooms, including 10 main rooms, an endoscopy suite, an electrophysiology lab and two labor and delivery rooms.

The caseload spans general, orthopedic, plastic, ENT, urology, vascular, neurologic and gynecologic procedures. CRNAs are not assigned cardiac cases, and pediatric patients are not included. Practitioners may perform regional techniques such as spinal and epidural blocks and place arterial lines, with a good degree of independent judgment.

Shifts vary in length, and the group spreads its scheduling evenly among its members. Call is roughly one weekend every seven to eight weeks, with infrequent weekday call.
