Full details

This employed CRNA position sits within a well-regarded, collaborative anesthesia group in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. The role offers wide clinical scope, considerable independence within an Anesthesia Care Team structure, and access to many surgical specialties, all within a physician-led health system that employs more than 60 CRNAs on staff. Practice settings include a Level II Trauma Center, a specialty hospital, and an ambulatory surgery center.

Case exposure spans cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology, interventional neurology, endoscopy, orthopedics and spine, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, plastic surgery, general surgery, urology, oncology, and medical imaging. Clinicians may also take part in obstetric epidural care, pain management after surgery, resuscitation training for newborns and adults, and vascular access work.

Scheduling is self-directed, with a mix of shift lengths available. Call duties are contained within a standard weekly workload and each call period is followed by a guaranteed day off.

Compensation starts above $245,200, with a signing bonus of up to $300,000 and possible student stipends of up to $72,000. Relocation help is offered, and overtime is available. Benefits include an employer-matched 403(b), an annual continuing-education allowance with five paid CME days, five to seven weeks of paid vacation, and no state income tax.

Rapid City sits at the edge of the Black Hills, minutes from hiking, biking, fishing, camping, skiing, and wildlife viewing. The city has good schools, a regional airport, and a modest cost of living, and Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Badlands National Park are within a short drive.

Both seasoned CRNAs and recent graduates are invited to apply for the position, which the posting presents as a blend of pay, flexible scheduling, broad clinical exposure, and an active lifestyle in a scenic part of the Midwest. All hires must verify identity and U.S. work eligibility at onboarding.
