Full details
This contract, full-time CRNA opening is based at an acute care hospital in York, PA, where the role falls on day shifts. The schedule is set by daily assignment and the posting notes no expected overtime, so the specific hours are not restated here; the position runs on weekdays only, Monday through Friday.
The anesthesia practice is medically directed and operates at a ratio of 1:3, with a stated maximum of 1:4. The CRNA would provide patient-centered care across a wide range of surgical and procedural areas, including trauma, neuro and spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetric and gynecologic, general, GI, pediatric, plastics, orthopedics, robotics, and NORA settings. Work is done alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians.
Responsibilities include giving and managing general endotracheal, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided anesthesia, and placing epidurals independently when indicated, without a physician present. The CRNA would care for patients of every age group, adjusting to changing volumes and acuity by location, and would record clinical documentation in Epic.
Required credentials include active CRNA board certification and an active Pennsylvania RN/CRNA license or an IMLC compact license held in hand. Current ACLS and PALS certifications are also required, along with proficiency in the listed anesthesia techniques. DEA registration is not needed for this role. Two or more years of CRNA clinical experience is preferred, as is work in a high-acuity or Level I trauma setting, familiarity with Epic, and exposure to complex subspecialty cases such as cardiac, thoracic, neuro, or pediatric.
The facility is a large, 593-bed hospital with a Level I trauma designation and a broad case mix, giving the provider exposure to varied and complex patients across many surgical specialties. The practice is described as collaborative and multidisciplinary, with a structured, medically directed model.
Listed benefits include malpractice insurance coverage, weekly electronic pay, and a $2,000 referral bonus program.
