Full details
A large hospital system in Wisconsin is looking for a CRNA to work within a care team model alongside an anesthesiologist in a multidisciplinary group practice. The setting is a community hospital with more than 300 beds and a level II trauma center. The CRNA would join an experienced anesthesia group that includes anesthesiologists, other CRNAs, and technicians, and would handle a broad range of cases, though open heart procedures and regional blocks are excluded. Roughly 20 procedural rooms are typically staffed each day, with the day running from 8 to 1.0 FTE on a schedule, and several shift lengths are available, including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options. Compensated time off after call is provided, along with a pension and compensation the posting describes as excellent. Multiple positions are open, and both new graduates and experienced CRNAs are invited to apply. The hospital is named among the best in northwestern Wisconsin and among the top 10 in the state by U.S. News & World Report for 2019-2020. The city of Eau Claire offers good schools, a low crime rate, and a moderate cost of living, with a riverside trail, lakes, parks, golf courses, shopping, and an airport with daily United flights. The Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area is about 90 minutes away.
