Full details

UPMC Trinity is recruiting a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its anesthesia group on a full-time basis. The position runs on weekdays, with the workday set between roughly half past six in the morning and three in the afternoon, and includes rotating weekend call duty.

The CRNA will help deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia across many surgical and procedural areas. Work is done in partnership with anesthesiologists, surgeons and proceduralists, covering care before, during and after each case. The posting notes that the role offers exposure to a wide range of case types.

Core duties include completing thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and interpreting findings, building anesthetic plans with the care team, and giving anesthesia within granted clinical privileges and regulatory requirements. The CRNA selects and runs suitable invasive and noninvasive monitoring, gives medications, adjuncts, blood products and fluids as needed, manages the airway, ventilation and lung function, and carries out post-anesthesia assessments to keep care continuous.

The posting describes a collaborative, supportive clinical setting and an opportunity to practice at the full extent of one's scope. UPMC Trinity presents the position as one where the CRNA's work has a direct effect on patient outcomes and community health.
