Full details
The schedule is 8-hour shifts. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available for this CRNA opening at the Ambulatory Surgery Center team of Park Nicollet. The role is based at the Burnsville surgery center and asks the successful candidate to contribute as a Partner for Good, helping shape the care and experience patients and families receive each day.
Patients must satisfy strict criteria for ambulatory care. Anesthesia is delivered for orthopedic, vascular, plastics, ENT, general, gynecologic, eye, urology, single-level spine, and laparoscopic procedures. The pace is brisk and varied, and CRNAs collaborate with anesthesiologists while being regarded as valued members of the team.
Responsibilities include delivering safe analgesia and anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist or physician, providing resuscitation throughout the hospital, and supporting the department's objectives and the organization's goals. The position is weekday-only, with no nights, holidays, or weekends, is set at 0.8 FTE, and includes occasional travel to alternate sites on a rotating basis.
Candidates need a nursing school degree and a graduate anesthesia program credential, a Minnesota RN license, and NBCRNA certification or eligibility for it when hired. Credentialing under NCQA standards is required, along with effective communication, knowledge of age-related development, and current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. A master's degree in anesthesia or a related field is preferred, as are professional association involvement and computer keyboarding skills.
The benefits package for eligible positions covers medical and dental coverage, a retirement plan, paid leave, several insurance choices, education assistance, an employee support program, an onsite clinic, and more.
