Full details

The role is a Chief CRNA position at Signature Healthcare, Brockton Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts, offered through a physician-led anesthesia practice that emphasizes local, site-based leadership. The team includes several physicians and a sizable group of CRNAs who work closely together.

The chief will deliver peri- and post-operative anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical services, including general, orthopedic (with spine), ENT, endoscopy, vascular, podiatry, limited thoracic, plastics, and OB/GYN. The position involves coordinating with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other clinicians to make sure anesthesia services are delivered appropriately, taking part in quality assurance work, and managing multiple projects by setting priorities. The practice expects its members to uphold a published code of conduct and core values, communicate professionally, and represent nurse anesthesia positively.

Scheduling is flexible with several shift lengths available and an average workweek. The role carries no call, no weekend work, and no overnight shifts, and the practice guarantees eight weeks of time off each year.

Candidates should hold NBCRNA certification and an active Massachusetts license, have current or prior leadership experience, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation is listed as a W-2 package of $370,000 or a 1099 package of $404,000, including an annual $50,000 stipend for administrative duties and a $75,000 commencement bonus. Medical malpractice coverage, including tail coverage, is provided.

Brockton sits within reach of Boston, with a commute of roughly 25 to 35 minutes downtown and 30 to 40 minutes to Logan Airport, and housing costs generally run lower than in the city. The area offers nearby towns with strong schools, outdoor recreation such as hiking, biking, golf, boating, fishing, and beaches, and easy trips to Cape Cod, the islands, Newport, and the White Mountains. Cultural amenities, dining, local shops, breweries, and seasonal festivals are also part of the community.
