Full details

Mass General Brigham is recruiting certified registered nurse anesthetists for an advanced practice role at Salem Hospital, located on the North Shore and part of the system founded by Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. The CRNA works within an integrated care team alongside anesthesiologists, in an acute, fast-paced environment that includes an orientation and training program and regular check-ins, particularly for new graduates.

The position is onsite on a full-time basis, with the schedule stated in the posting's fields. The posted starting pay rate is $134.62 per hour, and a sign-on bonus of $40,000 is offered, with details to be discussed during the interview process. The listed annual pay range is $280,000.00 to $305,000.00, and the organization notes that final compensation will reflect skills, experience, education, and certifications, alongside benefits, differentials, premiums, and bonuses where applicable.

Candidates need a master's degree in nurse anesthesia practice and current CRNA certification from the NBCRNA, along with BLS and ACLS certification. A Massachusetts registered nurse license is preferred, and experience as a CRNA or as a new graduate of 0 to 1 year is preferred. Useful skills include a working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and related sciences, the ability to take medical histories, calm performance in emergencies, clear communication with surgeons, staff, patients and the public, and the capacity to keep current with anesthesia best practices. Foreign language ability matching the patient population is desirable.
