Full details
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station is looking to add a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to its expanding group. The hospital describes a supportive culture that emphasizes teamwork, new approaches, and ongoing professional development. The current anesthesia group includes 16 CRNAs and 10 anesthesiologists.
Scheduling is built around a flexible shift system that keeps call and post-call days off to a minimum. The caseload is broad and spans orthopedics, sports medicine, endoscopy, electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization lab work, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, obstetrics, and thoracic procedures, with some pediatric cases on a rare basis and many other types as well.
The compensation package includes a sign-on bonus of $75,000 tied to a three-year work commitment. Relocation assistance is offered to help with the move. The position is employed rather than contract-based, and Texas has no state income tax.
Continuing education support includes 4k in CME funding and five days per year for professional development, along with a tuition reimbursement program for those pursuing further degrees.
Benefits take effect on the first day of employment and include health and welfare coverage. A 401(k) plan is available with a dollar-for-dollar employer match of up to 5 percent.
Minimum requirements are a bachelor's degree and no prior experience.
